ABOUT CHELSEA

Hi, I’m Chelsea—a therapist, teacher at heart, and firm believer in the power of honest, transformative conversations.

I consider it a privilege to work with people in vulnerable moments. I’m not here only to listen—I’m here to guide, support, and challenge.

My role is to help you stay with that honesty long enough to understand what it means for your relationships, your purpose, and the direction you’re heading.

My work is shaped by both professional training and real-life experience, allowing me to meet clients with depth, steadiness, and practical insight. I value curiosity, directness, and meaningful growth. I ask thoughtful questions and help clients slow down long enough to recognize what is true and decide how they want to move forward.

My professional background includes experience in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, private practice, government-supported programs, and community mental health. I’m comfortable working with complicated histories, layered emotions, and difficult decisions while keeping our work personal and specific to you.

Outside of sessions, I’m a proud wife and mom. I love coffee shops, long conversations, and nonfiction that challenges how I think. I value connection deeply and believe relationships are one of the most important places we practice who we are.

If you’re ready to engage your life with greater clarity and intention, I would welcome the opportunity to work with you.

Clients often describe me as warm, direct, and deeply attentive. I will honor your story while also helping you notice where you may be avoiding what you already know. I ask careful questions, respect your pace, and believe insight is most powerful when it is discovered, not delivered.

I am comfortable with depth, complexity, and the courage it takes to change.

What It’s Like To Work With Me

“My first meeting with Chelsea Brown put all of my concerns aside instantly. She was able to meet me where I was mentally and help me step by step to rebuild myself. I felt genuinely cared for and heard each session; she gave honest feedback based on what I needed, not just what I wanted to hear. I made rapid growth and change over just a few months thanks to Chelsea’s guidance and instruction.”
— H.H.

“Chelsea actually listened to me and worked with me to help me find the answers I was searching for. She made me feel comfortable, like I was talking to a good friend. She provided a safe, confidential space for my healing, without judgment, and I am forever grateful.”
— K.J.

“What I appreciate most is how Chelsea challenges me with thought-provoking questions, encourages me to stay curious, and lifts me up when I start to doubt myself. Through rebuilding relationships, coping with grief and loss, and learning to be confident in who I am, she has helped me stay accountable and consistent.”
— M.D.
